Of course yes, because Linksys is one of the most widely used brands when it comes to extenders, routers, switches and modems. After Linksys extender setup, you can connect multiple devices to your Linksys router or main access point. To do so, there is a need to allow your Linksys extender to broadcast SSID or network name so that other devices can easily get connected to the network via WiFi. When you disable this function, the network will get hidden providing it security. In case you own a range extender, you can still connect it to your wireless network by matching its wireless settings with that of the router. But there are certain occasions when you are unable to see SSID name. This happens because your wireless devices can’t recognize the WiFi access as they are not able to find the WiFi broadcasting.
