The word integrity cropped up in at least a half a dozen angel readings this week. Anytime I hear a message repeated multiple times, I pay strict attention for I know this is a hallmark of angelic communication. According to Webster's Dictionary, integrity means: 1. The state or quality of being entire or complete; wholeness; entireness; unbroken state. 2. Moral soundness; honesty; freedom from corrupting influence or motive. 3. Unimpaired, unadulterated, or genuine state; entire correspondence with an original condition; purity. It can be inferred therefore that living one's life with integrity means returning to one's original plan. But what is this plan? Your Life Chart: Souls are constantly evolving. In order to expedite this evolution, we choose to experience many inca ations in the land of form. That is why you are here on Earth. Your soul is here to learn and to grow. Before you came here, you created a plan for this lifetime. This plan is known as your Life Chart. You mapped the course of this inca ation on Earth, detailing the lessons you hoped to learn whilst here in the land of form. Your guardian angels have your chart in their possession, and they refer to it regularly to ensure that you are adhering to your plan. When you veer off course, you receive signs from your angels and from your soul, telling you that you took a wrong turn. These signs can be subtle (a feeling of mild anxiety in your solar plexus) or quite blatant (crashing your car en route to an interview for a job with a morally bankrupt company). Whenever you ignore the advice of your Higher Self and your angelic guides, the warnings become louder. Of course, you have the Law of Freewill on your side, meaning you do not have to listen to this Divine counsel. You are perfectly free to make as many mistakes as you wish. You can live the life you did not choose and the universe cannot interfere with your choices. To use a driving analogy, it is like going off-roading versus taking on the Autobahn. The Autobahn is straight, smooth, and very fun to drive. You reach your destinations very easily and quickly, and you have fun en route. Off-roading can be fun too initially; however, the lack of direction, the absence of helpful road signs, and the teeth-rattling bumps eventually wear down most people. Working with your angels to stay the course ensures you live the life your soul intended, a rewarding life full of joy. That is what it means to live one's life with integrity. 2009: The angels say the theme of 2009 is living life with integrity. Think of it as having your life turned upside down and shaken - everything that isn't true to your soul's purpose will simply fall away. If you notice the signs (relationship woes, career burnout, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, confusion or feeling lost) don't panic; your life is being reshaped so that you may fully pursue your dreams. Resisting this process will only serve to slow it down, but it will not halt it. Rather than allow your intellect and ego to resist your soul's lead, learn to work with it. Head your intuition. Pay attention to your dreams. Don't take 'coincidences' for granted. Lead with your heart not your head. Most importantly, concentrate on helping others. Ask yourself, "How can I make the world a better place?" As you stop thinking of your own needs, and start concentrating on being of joyful service to others, you will start to notice an improvement in your overall outlook. The world will look like a safer and happier place. You will also notice an improvement in your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Here are some ways to give your time and energy both freely and joyfully: Career - Choose a rewarding career that allows you to help those who both appreciate and respect you. It will always feel more like play than work. Relationships - Spend the majority of your time with the people who love you exactly the way you are. Limit the amount of time you interact with, and think about, negative people. Love - Mentally send love to everyone, especially those who appear to want or need it the least. You will see a subtle yet noticeable change in the way they treat you. Talents - Don't be afraid to use your God-given gifts to help others. That is why you have those particular talents/interests. Integrity - Follow the path your soul intended. Do not allow outside factors (people's opinions, peer pressure, family expectations) to define you. We all have our own unique path to travel. No one but you (and your angels) knows what is best for you. Living your life with integrity is about honouring your soul and being true to yourself. There is no one exactly like you. Do not deprive the world of your unique vision, talents, and purpose. Live the life your soul intended.
