Having a child is one of life’s greatest gifts. It can be one of the most beautiful experiences a parent could have. That is why there are now thousands of childless couples looking into different options and methods of bearing their own child. Some of the most popular methods being explored by childless couples are Invitro Fertilization (IVF), Artificial Insemination, adoption and Surrogacy. Each of these options has their own advantages and disadvantages, for childless couples who would like to have their own child from their own flesh and blood they often resort to IVF, artificial insemination and surrogacy. IVF and artificial insemination would be perfect for couples who have problems of bearing a child the natural way, but for couples who have problems like infertility, physical disabilities or same sex couples their option would be surrogacy. Surrogacy is best defined as an arrangement in which a woman or surrogate mother agrees to carry and deliver a child for another couple or person. The agreement would usually be well compensated by the couple or person who wishes to have a child. There are two main types of surrogacy and these are Traditional surrogacy and Gestational Surrogacy. Traditional surrogacy is a mutual arrangement where the surrogate mother uses her own eggs for the conception of the child. In this process the surrogate mother is genetically related to the surrogate mother. On the other hand Gestational surrogacy is a mutual arrangement where the surrogate mother houses the fertilized embryo of the couple or person who wishes to have a child until the delivery of the baby. In this process the surrogate mother has no genetic link to the baby. Subcategories of surrogacy can be classified as commercial surrogacy and altruistic surrogacy. Altruistic surrogacy is an arrangement where the surrogate mother does not receive any compensation for carrying and delivering the child while commercial surrogacy is an arrangement where the surrogate mother receives compensation beyond the cost of medical expenses or other reasonable expenses during the pregnancy and delivery of the child. The legality issues that surround the process of surrogacy vary from state to state. In Florida, laws and regulations about surrogacy is well protected. Couples or even individuals who are looking into commercial surrogacy can find a lot of reputable surrogate agencies in Florida. The most advisable option for surrogacy would be gestational surrogacy because this process does not create any genetic link between the surrogate mother and the child and this process often leads to less legal issues and problems. To find the best Florida surrogate agencies it is best to check the different websites or online resources first. After all the research is done it is always a good idea to do a background check about the surrogate agency and the surrogate mother. These are some simple yet effective tips to get the process of surrogacy run as smoothly as possible and avoid any legal issues or problems that may arise before, during and after the arrangement. Trust only reputable surrogate agencies to help you find the best surrogate mother who would carry and deliver your future child.
