It depends on the mental agility of the onlooker, which is a very subjective thing to settle down on. In a bid to do away with the potential risky situations, the business owners instruct the designers not to aim for the quirky or the out-of-the-box logo designs. Even when re-branding, the usual trend is to bring about a change without letting the core concept or theme of the logo with which it was originally crafted, to go into the oblivion.
It is often said that when something makes you to think, it remains on your memory for long. That can be the driving force which augments the professional designers to design a logo with the thinking quotient intact. For instance, the logo of the London Games this year became a source of controversy for being complex. However, if you have made the effort to decipher the logo, then it can be said that it will remain in the footprints of memory for long. The business owners cannot afford to dilly-dally with the way they select their brand identity. It is always required to depend on the experienced professionals when dressing up your brand in an appealing way.
