What I am going to tell you about belly fat might seem too simple to be successful. But increasing knowledge created by brain research is showing that we have more power over our destiny simply by changing our minds, becoming clear on our desires, and taking appropriate action.

First - Stop fussing about your belly fat. What have you been saying to yourself about your belly fat? You know if the conversation has been negative or if you are in a quandary – I don't seem to get a handle on how to loose this belly fat or I don't see why my belly gets so fat when I hardly eat that much.
Fussing feeds your brain negative messages. This is harmful because you brain catalogues every statement and physically supports that idea. This ends up with you experiencing minimal change and keeping or increasing your belly fatrn.
The opposite of personal fussing is personal peace. So, once you choose the opposite mind activity that support a peaceful attitude, then you open a mental gap for doing things that promote a successful and not an "I give up attitude"

Second - To make a move to, success with belly fat, go out and seek flat belly people in your age bracket to admire. Instead of envy or make fun of slender people, silently give thanks for the image of your idea of an ideal belly.
This simple mental activity can lead your mind to helping you see the possibility to create a well proportioned balanced physique. It also lets you examine what's possible and helps your mind to focus on positive winning actions. This can alter your whole mindset about how you feel about your body.
The opposite of this activity is worry about your body. This is stressful. It can create negative behavior, like eating to make you feel less stress about your goals for your body. Admiration can lead you to thinking positively about how to create the natural successful body you dream of.
This can even lead you one step further to thinking about what choices slender healthy people make on a day to day, meal to meal, activity to keep balance in their body and their lives.

This mental activity also creates transformation. It first starts in your brain, which in turn miraculously shows up in your body. How long would it take you might ask? Brain research shows that altering your thoughts, changes your attitude. A new mental attitude alters actions which quickly changes your chemical and physical body.

For instance you might even consider keeping a journal to find out exactly what you choose to eat when your mind is on auto pilot. One of my clients who did not cook, and wanted to see what choices she made that kept her cholesterol level higher than normal was surprised to find that she was mostly eating manufactured foods, with fake fats and sugar and no body friendly foods that could create balance with her problem...
With this awareness, and some determination it was easy to move forward with more appropriate fresh food choices to achieve her quest. She began to feel like a winner. She eventually won the battle.

Step 3 - Be grateful! It's a step in the right direction.
Give thanks for the thought that made you consider your belly fat. Success with belly fat is about managing thoughts, making appropriate choices and taking focused action. Taking positive action with gratitude for this thought is going to replace fussing, with you being proactive about managing your health. And this can save you from distress as you age.

Why bother you might say. I am in good health; I got a clean bill of health from my last medical examination. This is good, but things can be better because one of the red flags of ill health as you age is excessive belly fat. Excessive belly fat is a sign of daily oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is associated with tissue damage in most organs of your body, leading to chronic ill health and you getting bad news at the next doctors' visit. This causes distress and will not get you to your goal of being rid of belly fat.
