Eating clean is an effective and healthy way to lose weight. Unlike dangerous crash diets, choosing nothing but natural whole foods is not only sustainable but also offers a host of additional advantages. A balanced meal plan with a sufficient amount of vitamins, minerals and fiber will give you more energy and help you recover faster. It’ll also let you sleep more soundly and will improve your bowel movements. Unfortunately, some people find it hard to stick to nothing but clean food. They feel that it doesn’t have the range of choices that normal food does. Dessert in particular is a sore point for many people. However, this is an opinion that is categorically false. There are many health-friendly dessert choices out there; you just have to know where to look. Sludge Don’t be fooled by the name, sludge is one of the most delicious and healthy desserts you can ever make. It’s a favorite among athletes and is an awesome alternative for pudding or ice cream. To make it, just mix around 32 grams of peanut butter and a couple of scoops of chocolate protein powder together. Add just enough water for the whole thing to meld into a smooth mixture. Throw it in the freezer for five to ten minutes and you have an excellent dessert that’s both great tasting and nutritious. Yogurt Yogurt is another great alternative to sugar-loaded puddings and ice creams for people who are trying to eat clean. It’s high in protein and mixes well with other healthy additives like frozen fruits. Yogurt is also perfectly safe to eat even for lactose intolerant individuals. In addition, the live cultures present in it boost the immune system and prevent indigestion. Natural Nut Butters All natural nut butters are an excellent option for those trying to eat clean diet foods. It doesn’t matter if it’s peanut, almond or even sunflower seed; all of these butters are high in essential fatty acids and taste amazing on pancake or slice of French toast. Frozen Fruit Mangoes, blueberries and melons all taste amazing on their own. If you try freezing them beforehand, though, you might not want to eat anything else. They’re delicious, high in fiber and are relatively low calorie. They should be staples in the meal plan of anyone who wants to eat clean.
