My Mom and Dad were married over 50 years and had a great marriage and strong love. They had a Relationship for Life until my dad passed away in 2008. I wrote a book in the honor of my dad and the life he lead, it is called Mills Way to Richer Living. He did what relationship excerpts and marriage prep classes tell you to do he put my my number one in his life. She was above us kids, his job, his hobbies, his folks and brothers and sisters. That is what you will learn from relationship experts and marriage prep classes but people sometimes lose focus on this.

Also he loved my mom for who she was, what she thought, what she did. He didn’t ever tried to change her or complain to her. He knew criticism does not have a place in a positive relationship. It usually is a symptom of one person trying to change another person to meet their own standards. By criticizing your spouse or your friends you send them a very clear message that you are not acceptable the way they are.

You, however, do not make the rules about what is acceptable. Your goal should be to learn to accept their differences and appreciate what makes them unique without trying to make them more like you. When I was growing up my father was a wonderfully positive role model. He never nagged or complained about anything. I’m sure at times it was hard for him to bite his tongue, but he never let us know about it. We always felt accepted and loved for who we were and what we were doing.

So how do you show your spouse, kids, relatives and friends how much you love them. Do you Honor them or do you try to change them. I say we need to appreciate them and be grateful for our relationships with them. Show them how much you appreciate them and try not to nag or complain about anything. As Gary Smalley says “Dead Bolt your Mouth”. What great advice. Show your Spouse , Girlfriend or Boyfriend that they are number one in your life over all others and see how your relationship grows even stronger.

Thank you for visiting my site. I started this site in the hopes of helping others live a happier life. My dad inspired me to create the Mills Way. He lead a life that anyone would be proud of. He was has happily married to my mom for 57 years. He was a giving man to people in the community in so many ways. He was a supporter of my dreams and others. He was not a materialistic person and lived with little debt his whole life. He had a good smile and was a great dad to myself and my sister. His five grand kids would tell you that he was the best grandfather anyone could ever have.

Mills Way

Mills Way is Positive Solutions for home, life and business. We offer Life Coaching, Speaking to Hypnosis services. We can make you a personal Self Hypnosis CD or we have many already made. I will also offer many other items and services in the future. I am available to speak to your group or business about the Mills Way. I am also available for one on one coaching. Mills way covers Leadership, Faith, Dreams, Relationships, Business, Balance in Life, Living Worry Free, Living Debt Free, Communication, Being Positive Daily, Giving Back to Others and much more. With Hypnosis I can do one on one sessions to group sessions to parties or events.

I have two wonderful kid that I am so proud of. My daughter is going to the University of Minnesota and my son is going to New York University. Both have done so amazing in school and out of school. I have faith they will continue on and live by the Mills Way.

My NLP and Hypnosis training I received from a Minnesota state licensed school and from a teacher with over 25 years experience. Hypnosis and Coaching Certification from Minnesota Institute of Advanced Communication skills and Coaches Institute International. Also a Certified Competent Communication from Toastmasters International. I continue to keep up with current training and techniques. I am a excellent choice to help you.
