Science has now shown that love is very important for brain development.

When we are born we start making neurological connections in our brain at the rate of 1000 connections per second - Wow! And as we grow science has also found that the one thing that strengthen those neurological connections more than anything else is love. Not food, not exercise, and not deep breathing… just good old fashioned love.

Many times we take love for granted and think loving a child is something we do because it’s natural, but it’s not natural for everyone. When we are born into families with lots of abuse sometimes love is the furthest thing from our mind. Many who have been abused have lots of armor that protects their heart from feeling anything. And when we shut off one emotion we shut off all emotions, there is no such thing as just shutting of anger… it’s all or nothing when it comes to emotions. But no matter who we are, everyone has love deep inside, all it takes is drawing our that love. Loving friends and family members can facilitate this wonderful process. And love is powerful and can heal everything if we allow it to thrive, but it’s up to us open our heart. And thus learn to be be vulnerable, to learn to allow ourselves to suffer a broken heart, and allow ourselves to feel the anguish of losing a loved one. All of this is natural, it’s all part of feeling deeply and being loving.

Even the great gurus, saints, and avatars of the past felt deeply, it’s not as though they were immune. Even Jesus wept in the garden, thus feelings are to be felt and released and then we move on with life and feel great joy.

Many Blessings to Everyone!
