The real estate boom in India has taken the whole world by surprise. Moving over from the metros, the real estate boom is being witnessed in other cities of India as well. Uttar Pradesh, the largest state in India with a population of about 1.6 million is also not far behind. The state is already a beneficiary of the real estate boom with many prominent builders entering the state with project worth crores. Due to growing demand of property in Lucknow, the city has all the features needed to become a world class city in the years to come.
There are many reasons behind the sudden rise of the real estate sector in Lucknow. Firstly, the city is an education and an economic hub. It attracts many students from all over the country who come to study in this educationally prosperous city known for institutes like IIM, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Central Drug Research Institute and many others. The shopping centers in Hazratganj and commercial centers in Gomti Nagar contribute a significant portion in the state coffers. Another reason why this city is a real estate sector because being the political and industrial center, many buyers belonging to political, beaureaucratic as well as industrial circles aspire of having a house of their own in this city. The salaried class people form a core segment of the customers of the real estate projects undergoing in this city. Most of the salaried people wish to have a house or being transferred in Lucknow. As a result, it is seen that investing in property assures them of a great return in the future.
Talking about Lucknow properties, the city has several features associated with it that makes it a favourable destination for investment by the buyers of all kinds of income group. It has an excellent civic administration with the Lucknow Municipal Corporation managing the day to day affairs of the city. The city also holds a great importance in terms of tourist attraction as there are architectural monuments like Asafi Imambara, Chota Imambara, British Residency, Shah Najaf and many others. Aminabad, which is located in the heart of the city is a major shopping center that caters to a large variety of consumers. Some of the other shopping centers are Nishatganj, Hazratganj, Indiranagar and Mahanagar. Besides this, there are many shopping malls cum multiplexes like Saharaganj, Riverside Mall etc. Lucknow has an excellent connectivity to rail services and connects important cities of India. Moreover, it is well connected to air services via the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Amausi that connects various places in India and even in Gulf. There are also plans to connect the city with Metro and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has started its planning in this regard.
Lucknow is growing fast pace both economically and in terms of infrastructure. The real estate boom has further enhanced its might. The day is not far when the city of tehzeeb will turn out to be city of ashiana.
