Magic the Gathering: Magic Cards

Since we’ve set up why you should play Magic: the Gathering, let’s go over just what made this game what it is nowadays: the Magic card by itself. This 2.5x 3.5x .01 inch little bit of cardboard comes in a broader selection of colors and types, so we’ll check out the fundamentals of the colors and card types of Magic cards, in addition to exactly what the mages of every color can carry to the table.

First, the colors.

Red- Mana symbol represents a flame. Red stands out as the color of impulse and chaos. Their mages are energetic, short-sighted, and motivated by a sense of freedom from a fallout.

Green- A green mana image is symbolized with a tree. Green often is the color of interdependence and instinct. A green mage will usually be unsuspicious, driven to grow, and be chained primarily by the rules of nature along with the natural order.

Multicolored- A multicolored mage may take on the best and/ or perhaps the most severe attributes of any number of these colors, and are often the roughest to deal with.

Colorless- A colorless mage can use the power of any sort of mana, but doesn’t need any of them; their power depends on artifice and technology.

And now for the basic Magic card types!

Land- The center of the game; these beautiful cards can result in mana pulled from the challenger to cast the plethora of spells your deck houses!

Artifact- Artifacts are instruments of great force or objects of artifice that don’t need specific colors of mana to function on; raw mana will do!

Planeswalker- A planeswalker is a mage that are able to travel between the planes which you can summon to aid you in battle!

Creature- Creatures is usually called to aid you in defeating your competition, summoned from different places your colors’ terrains might house.

Sorcery- Sorceries are spells that require a small amount of concentration to cast, and may only be cast at several times.

Instant- Instants are bursts of mana focused when your in trouble, pulling off a variety of cantrips. Use is limited, but can be cast at any time; even on your opponent’s move!

You may combine any number of card types and colors on your career of Magic: the Gathering, so don’t be concerned to mix things up and play a color you haven’t played a lot before, or focus a deck on a card type you’re new to; there’s definitely much more to learn, that makes the game amazing!
