This happens to be the most visited site by tourists in South Africa, as recorded in statistics. Originally a harbor built by Prince Alfred, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is a project that not only captivates the tourists with the harbor’s original structure, but also provides a variety of shopping & entertainment options. Also housing the Two Oceans Aquarium, which houses the diverse sea-life found along the coast of South Africa. It is an underwater reserve that lets you view different oceanic creatures in their original habitats. Great for kids & adults alike, it is very educational.

If you plan your trip accordingly, you might be able to catch the KaapseKlopse, a minstrel festival, in full blast during your vacation. The festival is a colorful event, with more than 13,000 minstrels, dressed in the most colorful outfits, out on the streets of Cape Town.
