Arthritis is a painful condition. While there are scores of different types of arthritis, the condition is always the same- inflammation of one or more joints that causes swelling of joints, stiffness and a range of other symptoms. For older patients, with severe conditions of arthritis, walking short distances too is an excruciating exercise. Unfortunately, there isn’t a clear cut cure for the condition. Lack or reduced levels of calcium in the diet can increase chances of brittle bones and can lead to severe osteoporosis, which can only worsen with arthritis. These supplements are easily available and can be easily made part of your diet. While unfortunately, none of them can cure arthritis, they can help strengthen the joints and avoid worse inflammation of the same.
