Making A Difference In An Economically Challenged Society

The facts are the facts, the economy is failing miserably and for all practical purposes most Americans and those abroad feel helpless to ever get ahead. Yet there is hope and there is a way out of this state of "depression".

Oftentimes we feel like we are victims of our circumstances. We feel that there is nothing to do but accept the inevitable and deal with challenges as they come. This is where all people of every nation are sadly missing the key ingredient to personal achievements, whether it’s financial growth or lifestyle goalsrn.
All changes begin with the person desiring the change! It is what we do, not what happens to us! Changing what we do changes what happens to us...give that some thought. I know that you have heard this before: If you keep doing what you are doing you will keep getting what you are getting! Is that not true?

So let’s explore how one can make the changes within themselves to create a different outcome.

First of all, are we asking the right questions?

These are the first three that you must ask yourself everyday:

What is it that I want?

If you don’t know what you want then not having “something” that is vague and undetermined is absolutely unachievable. Therefore, the very first thing is determining what you want. Create a very clear picture in your mind or cut out pictures and post them where you can see them.

Why is it that I do not have what I want?

The key to finding the answer to this question is that no excuses are allowed and blame is not allowed. This is that most difficult question you will answer without the above “victim” excuses. You are not a victim of anything but your own actions or inactions.

What can I change to get what I want?

This is where you will actually have to use your brain to get the answers. More importantly you must try everything to see if it gets the results that you desire. Not everything that you try will give you results in fact the first hundred things you try may not work. This trial and error process is necessary to achieving your goals. When I say try everything I do not mean spend money on everything! Use your imagination, change little things, which is what I like to call “baby steps”.

Secondly, remove these three phrases from your vocabulary:

I can’tr
I’ll tryr
I don’t know how

This is where it will get extremely frustrating because you are now positioning yourself for success and you are not allowing the “unsuccessful” behaviors to dominate your life. The best way to do this is to keep what you want where you can see it all the time. A post it note, a picture, saving the picture to wallpaper your phone or computer or a little note in your pocket that you can look at throughout the day.

You can never lose sight of what you want. This will keep everything else going in regards to achieving that goal through changes that you make in your life.

A new mantra:

I canr
I willr
I’ll figure it out

You’ve heard the phrase, “You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink”, that holds true for anything in life. As an entrepreneur, I could show hundreds of ways to make money on the internet, but why would I if you are not willing to step out of your comfort zone and make it happen.

All the “business opportunities” that are available (most of them anyway) are modeled for success. It is the person doing any particular opportunity that fails because they are not willing to make the effort to change their circumstances. It all goes back to the 3 questions and then reverts to the 3 no no’s which is why 95% of would be entrepreneurs do not see success.

It is not our failing economically society that is the problem it is the individual that uses that excuse to be a slave to that failing economy!
