The whole world is going green. There is an awakening and environmental consciousness all over the world about a cargo container for a cleaner and greener alternative to homes, offices or hobby rooms. These containers can be considered as a greener alternative or building solution as they are reusable. Building materials such as concrete and cement are not biodegradable. Most people would wonder that acquiring these cargo containers would be extremely difficult and expensive because of the nature of the material used and its size. The truth is that there are a number of containers which are unused and are just lying stacked up at shipping docks as they have no takers. This is because it is too expensive for a country to just ship empty containers back to the place of origin. Mostly these containers are bought at a lower price from China or from other Asian countries. So now there are plenty of containers which can be easily procured due to their large availability. Duly noted at construction sites - buildings and houses made out of cargo containers are not an uncommon sight. However, in order to be carried out as installations on the properties, there are certain conditions in their use of an accessory. They may be used for residential, commercial and industrial purposes. A cargo container can be used as a shop, sales display area, hobbies, for storage of motorized vehicles and others. Usually a building permit is required for installing a cargo container on site. Anchor tie-downs are essential when the foundation of the ground is not firm and leveled. Additionally a pre-existing paved or cemented area such as parking lots also may be used. In this case anchor tie-downs are not required. Anchor tie-downs can be best defined as devices that are used for securing cargoes. They are attached from an anchor point which looks like a strong point on the vehicle which is then tethered to an object on the cargo. Cargo container cities can offer short term projects for land use and cater to offer an alternative solution to traditional office or home space environment. Container cities can be covered externally by a lot of materials and if one does not like the way they look, this can completely be masked. Cargo containers may be a modern day contribution to the architectural world and may not be considered immediately as an option. Except for those who are looking for a change in architectural style such as contemporary modern living the benefits are high. A Cargo Container is available readily, can be transported easily, comparatively less expensive when compared to other building materials. Not only this, they are easily stackable; they can be prefabricated and are long lasting and durable. In Ukraine, the biggest shopping mall using stacked cargo containers have been used to make alleys. Although architecture using these containers is not new it is definitely unique for building homes and offices. A cargo container is sustainable and cheap. Being modular homes they become modern and expandable and an extremely attractive space option.
