Making the sale is what motivates any internet marketer but without the customers satisfaction this simply will not happen! Being that competition can be brutal online it is best to adopt a sales strategy that focuses on relationship building and trust. In doing so you are better able to increase the customers satisfaction which will result in their making a purchase with you! Here are 3 simple guidelines around which you can develop a sales strategy that captures a persons attention and motivates them to make a purchase! Spark an Interest Obviously you must first capture the attention of your target audience but since you already know who they are you therefore know what they what! Whether it is sales copy, website content or a 'brief' ad you must first 'spark' an interest by addressing the 'need' of the person you are targeting. No sales strategy will be effective unless it first gets the attention of others. Once this is accomplished the selling process can then begin but not before! Identify with the Person Once you have the attention of any interested party it is best to quickly make them aware how you are able to identify with their needs! Once people recognize you are familiar with their 'particular' wants or needs they begin to become comfortable and more deeply engaged in what you have to say! At this point the customers satisfaction begins to build since they are more convinced your intentions are genuine and they feel less threatened. Deliver as Promised Remember all sales are NOT complete unless what you offered is NOT returned! The product or service you offer must deliver as advertised or you will lose the sale and likely your reputation will be tarnished as well! No matter how effective your sales strategy has been up to this point if you can not deliver as promised all your previous efforts will have been in vain! Making the sale online is the motivating force behind any internet marketer however the sales strategy must breed familiarity and trust first! With so much competition online people have many options they can choose from therefore the customers satisfaction needs to be made a priority! The process itself, as reviewed above is relatively simple but does require a bit of patience and finesse to gain a persons trust! Once that has been accomplished it is merely a matter of 'delivering on the promise' to insure the product will not be return nor your reputation being tarnished! As any successful internet marketer will tell you even though the environment may be dynamic and fast paced your sales strategy must be slowed down! People must be able to feel comfortable with both you and the process first and foremost if you are anticipating for them to make the purchase!
