As everyone probably already knows, January is the most popular time of year for gyms. Can you guess why?

Everyone is all hyped up about their New Year Resolutions and January is the time when they are still trying to accomplish all of those fitness goals. Unfortunately most people barely last until March, because they start out much too quickly with big ambitions and get burned out sooner than later.

If you are like the rest of the world, there is a good chance that you have a couple fitness goals of your own for the upcoming year. Making goals is the first step, but after you have decided what achieve, actually attaining your goals is something completely different!

Here are a few tips to help you succeed this year and in every year following!

First of all, it is important to pick a gym where there are lots of options. If you can choose from a treadmill, elliptical, or even an aerobics class, your body is less likely to get bored doing the same old routine every day.

It might be tempting to go for the gym membership that only gives you the bare essentials, but why waste your money on something that you are not going to stick with? Opting for the gym with more equipment and fitness options will keep it interesting and challenging, so that you will be more prone to stick with your fitness plan throughout the entire year.

Another thing to remember when deciding upon which gym you are going to put all of your heart, money, and sweat into, is the decision of how certified their personal trainers are. Make sure that the gym teachers and trainers are certified with some sort of national foundation; it may even be a good idea to research them and find out how legitimate they really are.

Also, consider finding a gym that has a lot of small fitness group activities and support systems. Doing this will ensure that your gym membership will not collect dust, not to mention the fact that you will make lots of new friends in the process as well!

Last but not least is the all important factor of a gym’s atmosphere. Every gym is different and when you walk in you can feel the ambiance provided simply by the type of people the gym attracts and also by the music that they have playing in the background.

Once you have found what you like, do not hesitate to sign yourself and get going! You will thank yourself later!

Movement is one of the most honest forms of self-connection. The body never lies. It holds stress, records emotion, and reveals when something feels off. For many, this is why exercise has always been more than fitness; it’s therapy through motion. But not all movement heals. Some styles exhaust, others distract. True healing often begins in the slow, intentional kind, the kind that lets the body lead and the mind follow.rnThat’s where precision-based training, such as re
