If you suffer from aging skin, don’t worry, we’ve got a remedy for that! Using our recipes, you can make all natural anti-aging and whitening masks so your skin can glow with health and youthfulness. Unlike commercialized, mass-produced anti-aging masks, these recipes use healthy, whole-food ingredients - most of which can be found right in your kitchen! Commercialized, mass-produced skincare products actually contribute to premature aging of the skin. While those products do have good nutrients that promote cell regeneration and reduce wrinkles (such as retinols and vitami E), they have a variety of chemical toxins that negatively affect your skin in the long-term. If you use our natural recipes to make a DIY anti-aging and whitening mask, not only will you save a ton of money, you’ll benefit from having healthy and soft skin long-term! Mask #1: Yogurt brightening mask A sure-fix for dull and dry skin, this mask will liven up your face instantaneously! Just blend a ½ cup of plain yogurt, a ¼ cup of seeded and chopped cucumber slices, a ¼ cup of peeled and chopped aloe flesh and a ½ cup of lemon juice in a blender, then strain the mixture ove ight through a cheesecloth-lined mesh strainer. Throw out the residual liquid and apply a layer of the thick yogurt mixture to your face for about 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and gently pat your skin dry. The cucumber and aloe will soothe dry skin and hydrate it, while the yogurt and lemon juice will whiten and brighten your face up. Mask #2: Blueberry and oat exfoliating mask This recipe is for a 2-in-1 mask and exfoliant. All you need to do is blend a ¼ cup of blueberries, a ¼ cup of almonds, 2 tablespoons of oats, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of organic milk in a blender until smooth. You can add extra milk if needed. Apply a layer of this mask to damp skin and leave it for about 20 minutes. Then, remove the mask by gently massaging the mask in slow, small circles. This will exfoliate your face and improve blood circulation. Most of the mask should crumble off, but rinse off any remnants. Blueberries and almonds are packed with antioxidants and vitamins, so they will reduce fine lines and wrinkles, removing years from your skin. Oats are a natural exfoliant and will brighten your face up, plus, they have anti-inflammatory properties, so they’re a great cure for pimples and blemishes. The honey and milk will rehydrate and soften your face. Mask #3: Anti-aging avocado mask The name says it all - this avocado mask will help your skin look years younger by smoothing out fine lines, fading wrinkles and hydrating your skin. All you need to do is mash up ½ a ripe avocado and mix it in with 2 tablespoons of organic yogurt and 1 tablespoon of fresh wheatgrass juice. Powdered wheatgrass can be used too. Puree the mixture in a blender until smooth and apply the paste to your face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. Gently pat your face dry. Avocados and wheatgrass juice contain a healthy supply of vitamins A and E, two anti-aging agents which work to destroy free radicals and keep your skin supple and smooth. Yogurt acts as a natural exfoliant and removes dead skin cells, making your face whiter and brighter. Mask #4: Sandalwood brightening mask If your skin is looking a little dull, whip a sandalwood mask up and within half an hour, your skin will be looking bright and lively again! Mix 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder with 1 tablespoon of organic yogurt and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice (preferably fresh!). Apply the paste to your face in a thick layer for 15 to 20 minutes. When washing it off, massage the ingredients into your face for maximum exfoliation. Yogurt acts an exfoliating and hydrating agent in this mask, while the lemon juice brightens up your face. Sandalwood has antibacterial properties, making this an excellent mask for people who have a few blemishes or pimples they’d like taken care of. Generally speaking, sandalwood has several benefits and has been used for hundreds of years as a natural treatment for skin problems such as pigmentation. This mask will leave your skin refreshed and brightened. Don’t forget about your hair! Now that you have flawless skin, why don’t you work on having flawless hair?
