It is not just assigning trucks on routes and sending them on their way; no, sir. But in today’s modern world, barely anything is rudimentary, including fleet maintenance. Thankfully, we have plenty of assistance from a wide array of advanced technologies. However, in the context of fleet maintenance, there is one pair of technology that has emerged as one of the most potent when it comes to the potential to assist the sector: Artificial intelligence and machine learning. Among other things, artificial intelligence and machine learning help leverage other avant-garde technologies, glean data from them and then use it to enhance fleet operations in previously unimaginable ways. It is helping companies to know when vehicles in their fleet are about to breakdown and even things like which route is the best suited, considering all factors involved in the equation.   2. Proper and timely maintenance: Usually, companies will check out the vehicles in the fleet to identify any possible issues. And that is fine, but artificial intelligence substantially enhances that process by keeping an eye on the performance of these vehicles, tracking maintenance schedules, and keeps the folks in charge informed about these things to ensure that all and any possible issues are diagnosed promptly.
