This one of the most exciting markets to have to service because you can go from the super rich student to the super poor one! There is no happy medium – well at least I have not found them! First there is the extremely wealthy student who has a fabulous student loan or career where his or her employers are very generous with their money and they are looking for a very smart up and coming young person which they want to share their wealth of ideas with and in turn want him or her to discover a whole new fountain of exciting new ideas or concepts which will improve their company to become a world class company and up their game! Then of course you will find a student who is looking for value for money and also lots of discount. This is a person who knows it‘s worth and how he can achieve the most value for the least amount of output. Every store and company who is worth their weight in gold all know that the struggling student is their future customer and if they can egg them on to become a client or even customer when struggling - they will be remembered, when one day they occupy the executive offices they could land that big contract. Every educational institute provides each of their students with an identity card. Every store has their own discounts for them and some stores provide more discounts than others. Australia places a large emphasis on education and its students and they will do everything to assist them with their studies knowing full well that they will receive big dividends once the student is qualified in their particular field of study. Marketing & advertising to students give discounts that are strongly encouraged as this is Australia’s future and the country wants the very best for each of their students so together they can build a stronger country and achieve greater heights. With each of the student’s academic achievements there will be an increase their earning power which would in turn improve their lifestyle, creating a win-win situation all around. The point system is a wonderful and fairly easy method of reaching the student. The more pizzas he purchases the more points he acquires and he will either receive a free pizza or maybe a highly reduced rate which will make him a much favoured client. He in turn will encourage his friends and colleagues to also purchase from his favourite pizza house. Handing out pamphlets on the various campus and there is the internet or directories work wonders. One has to catch the student either with very good value for money offers or discounts which go a long way to helping save those pennies for the student.
