Marketing is the lifeline of a business. A business will not last long if no one is interested in buying the product or if those who happen to need the product do not know it is being retailed. Customers do not always buy a product because it is effective; instead, they buy it because they were informed that it’s effective. Marketing is a way of informing them about a product and its qualities. There are different marketing strategies that can be adopted nowadays. With the advent of the Internet, advertising has become so fast and easy. People can see the product being advertised just by sitting in their rooms and browsing the Net. If they can’t find the exact product they are looking for, search engines connected to virtual clouds provide links to specific websites presenting the product in detail. Many companies today are smart enough to use other marketing strategies aside from having their own websites. They engage in lead generation to further connect to the customers and have more accurate information about the number of customers they can close a deal with. This is a form of online advertisement characterized by a fill-up form, where viewers who want to find out information about a product can fill up. Upon filling up a form with basic information, a customer can go to a web page explaining the product in detail to decide about purchasing the product or otherwise. Any contractor marketing business is given the right to use the information provided by the customers to contact them and re-advertize their product in the future. There are two different types of lead that a lead generator can offer the advertisers – a sales lead and a marketing lead. Both types have a unique pricing model. A sales lead is paid for every viewer filling up a form, while a marketing lead is paid only after the viewer has bought the product. The contractor marketing the product is more certain to make a sale through a marketing lead. The lead is not always posted on the advertiser’s website or on the link known to the lead generator. It is one of the tasks of the generator to maintain the leads and integrate it to other web pages. The contractor marketing the product is usually given a detail pricing per lead and addition maintenance before the generation.
