The health benefits offered by matcha green tea are wide in number which include protection against cancer, reduces risk of heart diseases, keeps the mind and body fresh and active, increases the level of good cholesterol in the body, reduces inflammation and improves the blood flow in the arteries which results in prevention of blood clots and various other health benefits. Matcha tea contains components known as rich polyphenol compounds which are hugely responsible for lowering the risk of chronic diseases which include cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, etc. Matcha green tea is also known for contributing towards weight loss. Green tea leaves contain a major antioxidant which is known as EGCG which is proven to be a potential weight loss factor. Matcha green tea is more beneficial as compared to usual green tea as it contains more percentage of antioxidant .The concentration of EGCG component in matcha green tea is three times more as compared to regular green tea according to a research carried out by the journal of Chromatography. Consumption of matcha green tea on regular basis boosts the metabolism rate during a moderate exercise session which hugely contributes toward weight loss. According to a study conducted it has been found out that the fat burning ability of the participants was increased to a 17 percent when they engaged themselves in a cycling exercise activity after drinking matcha tea. It is highly advisable to drink a cup of matcha green tea at the start of your day so that the metabolism rate of the body is enhanced and the unnecessary and unneeded body fats are burned at a faster pace hence contributing towards weight loss. It is also advisable to drink matcha green tea between meals so that you’re appetite is not disturbed. The diet must also be made calorie free so that the effectiveness of matcha green tea is ensured. In order to boost the metabolism rate of the body by speeding up the fat burning capacity ,matcha green tea must be consumed 30 minutes before a workout session.
