Meditation Practice

What is meditation? What are the benefits of meditation? How is it done? Is meditation the same as visualization?

Meditation is a technique used to help you release stress and have clear mind. Everyone needs to know how to deal with stress, anger, and other negative issues that we all experience in our daily life. Some people can handle stress easily, while the majority have a hard time dealing with stress, anger, and other negative issues. Meditation can help everyone clear their thoughts and change their mood for better.

As you know the practice of meditation has many benefits as it can treat depression, sleeping disorder, anxiety, stress, develop your cognitive skills as well as help you attract whatever you want in life. It is a very easy skill to learn, you just have to practice meditation and it takes only a few minutes of your time a day. Studies show that spending 5 minutes meditating every day can release stress, improve your mood, improve your concentration, and help you achieve your goals, among other benefits. When your mind is free and relaxed, there is no limit to what you can achieve.

Many people think that meditation is the same as visualization, but this is not true. In meditation, you work on releasing your thoughts, but in visualization, you focus on a specific goal or specific situation that you would like to attract into your life, so it is very important for you to know the difference.

To get the best results in your meditation practice, follow the steps below:

1. Sit in a comfortable chair in a very relaxed way or lie on the bed in a place you won‘t get disturbed.

2. Start breathing slowly and deeply for about 5 minutes and concentrate on breathing only. Let go of responsibilities from the past and expected in the future.

3. Release your thoughts. If thoughts do come up while you are meditating and they will come up, just push them away. Just focus on relaxation and your breathing and let your mind go.

If this is your first time meditating, you might find it challenging to release all your thoughts, but with daily practice you will improve and you will reap the benefits of practicing meditation.
