Meenakshi Wali- A Qualified CA from Indore

Meenakshi Wali is a qualified chartered accountant from Indore. 26 year old, she has done well to be where she is in life. Well settled in her career, she recently got married to Indore based man, who is a qualified chartered accountant as well. Born and brought up in Indore, she studied in one of the top schools in the city. Meenakshi Wali was a bright student and she raised some eyebrows in her family with her decision to study commerce and not science. She managed to convince her parents that it’s the commerce where her interest lies. She also told her parents that gone are the days when only the students from the science stream were considered the best. After standard 12th, bright as she was, she got admission in one of the top DU colleges which is renowned for its commerce courses. It was like a dream come true but she didn’t lose sight of her goal, which was to pursue CA. After she enrolled into the course, she studied hard for the next four years. With a focused and dedicated approach, Meenakshi Wali managed to clear her CA exams in the first attempt. That was no mean feat to achieve as there are only a handful of students who manage to do that. She made her parents proud and describes that day ‘the best day of her life’. Getting a job was not a problem and after working for an year in a start-up company, she moved to a bigger firm where she was offered a high pay package and wider work profile. Meenakshi Wali met her husband in college and finally got married to him last year. There wasn’t any resistance from her parents as they liked they guy right from the time she introduced them to him. Her father had a more traditional approach but accepted her daughter’s choice. After marriage they are happily settled in Gurgaon, where both of them work. They visit her family often on weekends. Despite the success in career and a happy life, she hasn’t forgotten the basic values that have been taught to her by her parents. She always gives the credit for her success to her parents and never misses an opportunity to thank her for the values they inculcated in her from the childhood. Quite young, Meenakshi Wali is looking forward to a fulfilling life with her husband.
