Diabetes is a chronic lifestyle disorder requiring constant monitoring and expert management. Diabetes is characterized by high levels of Blood Glucose in the Blood stream- the main cause being insufficient or ineffective insulin a hormone produce by pancreas. Uncontrolled Diabetes inevitably leads to irreversible complications like that of Eyes (blindness), Kidneys (Kidney failure), Foot ( Diabetic foot- Amputation), Heart Attacks and Stroke. Diabetes unfortunately is not curable-it can only be managed and controlled. There are many fine aspects of Diabetes and its management which may be missed by a casual, non structured approach. If Diabetes complications are detected early in the course of disease they may be treated and the patient saved from the impending doom. These are all the job of a Diabetologist- A doctor specializing in treatment of Diabetes and prevent and management of its complications. Dr Rajesh Kesari is one such Diabetes specialist in Delhi. After graduating from the prestigious Odessa State medical University ( Ukraine), he specialized in Diabetes management from the Apollo Medvarsity and got training in the Apollo Indraprastha Hospital Delhi. Dr Rajesh Kesari has been interested in Diabetes and novel methods of treatment since the time of graduation, he has participated in original experiments being done in Department of physiology under the leadership of Dr Shandra- a renowned physiologist. Dr. Kesari also modified the use of Low Level Laser therapy in Asians and showed extremely good results in chronic inflammatory conditions. Since his early years Dr Kesari has been interested in treatment of Diabetes. Dr Kesari has developed a Diabetes management software which not only helps in keeping records of the patients but also has many inbuilt tools which help the doctor in choosing the accurate dosages of insulin. Even though our country may be having more than 50 million Diabetics, the number of Diabetologist in our country may not exceed few thousand Diabetes specialists Delhi with a burden of 1.6 million diabetics may have only few hundred Diabetes specialists. Dr Rajesh Kesari is one of few Diabetologist at Delhi and is constantly involved in treatment of Diabetes in Delhi. Timely and consistent care of Diabetes patients can prevent them from undergoing the complications of Diabetes. Dr Rajesh Kesari has set up a Dedicated Diabetes Care Centre and is the chief Diabetes specialist Delhi has seen a spurt in number of Diabetics but the required infrastructure for treatment of Diabetes is lacking. Himself being a Diabetologist in Delhi Dr Kesari has developed this centre to provide complete treatment of Diabetes under one roof . Dr Rajesh Kesari has evolved a unique methodological approach which insures that each patient is thoroughly examined and none of the diabetes related complications are missed. Most of the complications do not give any signs in the early stage of disease. They must be looked for- Like a hunter looks for its prey-identified and treated. Using modern technology and internet to his advantage Dr Rajesh Kesari is able to help Diabetics at places far from Delhi, his patients come not only from most of the states of India but other countries as well. Dr Rajesh Kesari is a young Diabetologist in Delhi and has dedicated his life to care and treatment of Diabetes. He regularly holds Diabetes awareness talks, organizes camps where free tests are conducted, people are given counseling about Diabetes if they have it and how to prevent Diabetes.
