These days, it seems as if the words men and affairs are inseparable. Statistics show staggering results. Fifty to sixty percent of married men seek out extramarital relations at some point during their marriages. Out of the married men who do cheat only about thirty-two percent of them will ever admit to being cheating men. Even though twenty percent of men state that cheating has ruined at least one of their past relationships, they continue to cheat. Over 62% of the cheaters surveyed admitted to meeting their lover at work. When asked if they are happy with their new woman, only forty percent stated they were. So if men aren't happy completely happy with their lovers, what drives them to cheat? There are many answers to that question. Here's a few: Most no longer feel emotionally satisfied in their current relationship, they are simply to scared to end it. rnOthers, who realize they are not ready for commitment, use affairs as a method to break up.rnSome are concerned about figuring out finances and living situation after a break-up. They are too comfortable. rnMen crave the thrill and excitement of affairs. rnThey desire to feel needed and loved. At the time of the affair, their spouse was not fulfilling their needs. rnThey simply don't think about the consequences of their actions. rnThey think they can get away with it. rnSome simply don't take relationships seriously. rnAs women gain equal rights and opportunities, men who feel powerless use it as a way to gain power domestically.rnMen have affairs in hopes of being reminded what it was like to be free of schedules and routines. They wish to relive their youth. rnThey feel their wives have lost their sex appeal.rnA relationship with a new woman can be ego boosting.rnMen cheat out of boredom.rnLack of communication in a relationship can push a man to consider and follow through with cheating. rnHistory and past experiences with a spouse/girlfriend can become unbearable. Affairs are escapes. rnAn affair means that their will be no strings attached. It only has to be about pleasure. There is supposedly no emotional baggage. There is an abundance of reason why men may cheat. None of them are good enough excuses. Cheating husbands should not be accepted. When affairs take place, there more often than not, an underlying problem in the relationship. Considering what the problem might be can help men and their affairs stop.
