The next rung in the ladder has been added to the services expected from marketing and advertising agencies: meta-marketing. Soon it may no longer be enough for marketing and advertising agencies to provide just online marketing or traditional advertising to be successful - or even a little of both. Plenty of traditional print and outdoor advertising agencies have already begun to offer some online marketing to keep up with demands of technology. Everything from SEO/SEM to digital billboard advertising, and social media to viral advertising has been added to the services of ambitious marketing companies. Yet even with all of these, any agency that wants to make a big impression should be two steps ahead of the next big thing in advertising: digital print advertising for tablets, or "tra-digital." With the mainstream acquisition of tablets and e-readers, no one would be surprised if print magazines and newspapers were fighting one another in the race to the finish line for domination of this medium, which is still young in potential development. Yet despite a few false starts to the would-be race, it seems that even the big names in journalism and news are still mulling over provisions, divisions and superstitions about keeping news in the most tangible, physical plane of readership. While newspaper owners and editors alike cling onto the need to flip the pages of newspaper columns, comics and crossword puzzles, at least one NJ advertising and marketing agency is prepared for the future of print to tablet, and traditional to "tra-digital." Britain O'Connor of BOC Partners Inc., a full service NJ advertising agency, said in regards to the future of tablet newspapers and magazines, "Printed news has to recognize that they need to make a bolder transition onto the web and that these tablet computers are the perfect tool to make this transition. Yet newspapers and magazines still stand with only one foot through the door while traditional media gets slowly overshadowed by digital media. Traditional print advertising is ready for a renaissance. . ." This anticipatory philosophy of a total digital transition by print media and advertising is also evident in the marketing strategies of NJ marketing team BOC Partners, Inc. While their services do not neglect or downplay traditional advertising, they believe today's competitive markets demand more than paradigmatic advertising and marketing. While not exclusive to their NJ marketing firm, BOC employs a meta-marketing approach for their automotive clients, which has earned them the nickname "the car guys." Meta-marketing, as a business strategy, goes beyond a print ad on the best page in the Sunday paper, or the most advanced, eye-catching automotive digital billboard in outdoor advertising. Meta-marketing is to delve much deeper, working with businesses from the inside out to get measurable, calculated results with as little wasted advertising as possible. Often it involves monitoring and tracking even after the contract has technically ended, to ensure lasting results come from the strategies employed. The use of meta-marketing can include extras like consulting, research, QA, management, creative design, and more. Innovation and adaptation to change is also key in meta-marketing, by perpetually evolving strategies to meet with industry changes and advancements in technology. About BOC Partners, Inc. Located between Philadelphia and New York City in New Jersey, this advertising agency has built a solid reputation for over 25 years. They specialize in automotive advertising, online marketing, print advertising, billboards, direct mail, CO-OP, cable, and much more. They also offer consulting services, online conversion research and strategy, QA, marketing management, print to digital transition, creative design, and many other extras as a unique and diverse full service marketing firm.
