Misconception: The Strongest Tool on Earth

Misconception can be the method in which you would fool someone into believing that something based on a lie is the truth, and it can be used in the other way around. Art is one of the most well-known methods to spread ideas, but not through telling the truth. Art and literature use lies to spread the truth and they do so in the most concealed way so the ones who will not look for what lies between the lines would not see the point or the perspective. Numerous of ideas have been spread through telling the truth within lies and brilliantly manipulated words. But that is not good, not bad and not in the middle. This is merely art, used to deliver a message and whether the message contained content that you would see as good or you'd see as bad, it is all your decision to see it bad, good or not see it at all; after all there is no good or bad anywhere outside of our minds and our known morals. Throughout time, people justified what is wrong and what is right and through ages, people saw things proper and improper, knowing that their ancestors used to believe in the reverse of what they do now. In the peak of the Roman civilization, homosexuality was merely an act of love and in the Egyptian civilization the pharaoh was permitted to marry his sister so that the bloodline would not be infected. Those acts are now considered crimes, because our morals have changed, because our religions have changed. There is no act to justify murder, but we add that if it was revenge then one is good to go, or at least believe so. When we hear of a violent act of vengeance, we draw back and notice how sick the bloodshed is, but then when we are in the position where we could avenge something or someone, we do so ruthlessly, not because we are inhumane, but rather because our human nature is so adaptable that we agree upon what we disapprove with the right justification. But those justifications are not always ideal, or they are, again, it all depends on how you look at things until you witness the moment of your own salvation where you stand firm for your beliefs and never think that anything else could save you but your faith and your humanity. Most of men argue that wars should not happen, yet most of men would watch a movie about war, a movie that would change the ideas of the children and the upcoming generations. Every piece of art has an idea, no matter how large or tiny said idea is; it is an idea at the end. Everything you read, see or hear has a reason and because it might be so insignificant to you, you will ignore it and you will pretends that you did not hear it until the time comes when you realize how powerful that short movie or that little speech were. The strongest tool of advertisement in the world today is the word of the mouth. People who go around, speaking of the quality of one product without a single intention to advertise it draw more customers to buy this product because of how strong that word is. It is the word that is mightier than a hundred swords and if not, then why did religions survive for thousands of years without a scratch; still spreading and expanding? It is the word that breaks all bounds and it is the word that calms one down. It is powerful than all the weapons in the universe and it will stand till the end of days. Beware of the word.
