Cold Calling Potential customers Can Be Very Overwhelming When You First Begin Marketing
What is your MLM success strategy once you get on the telephone with a prospective client the very first time? Would you start slowly with your leads by connecting with them with laid-back conversation or would you plunge directly into your business message? When i first started making telephone calls to prospects I found myself to be very nervous and out of character I believe.
I recollect making phone calls to mlm home based business leads and getting people on the telephone with me which quite literally took over the marketing conversation. It had been like a seasoned racquetball player banging the ball from 1 side of the court to the other and me entering a sweat running back and forth. At times it felt like my mother or father requiring to know where I had been in the past six hours and wanting a play-by-play explanation. Just as you would start to speak they'd cut you off and ask you another question.
For some weird reason when i first started generating calls this kind of thing happened very frequently but right now seldom if ever will it occur. I'm very sure that the prospects that I call haven't changed very much. I think the main distinction is the fact that when I am on the phone talking to a prospect they can sense that I'm within my comfort zone. That comfort zone is the consequence of hours and hours of having bad phone calls and hating it.
The nearest thing that i needed to an MLM success strategy had been a set of scripts that i would hold to my face and read from as well as clutching the telephone in my other hand. Let me tell you that trying to turn pages, hold the phone, and attempt to read line by line with out appearing like a robot was a little harder than chewing bubble gum and walking which I hadn't quite mastered.
