We commonly use our cell phone to send MMS to our friends. Did you know that this can also be done using the phone via internet service? This service enables you to send pictures, videos, music and more. As long as you have your friend or family’s cell phone number and carrier, this is not only possible, but many people are doing it now. Why? Well it’s really simple, every time you use your cell phone to send messages; it costs you a certain amount. While, using the phone via internet, all this can be done for free. Here’s how:
1. All you need for this is your own email account. Once you have opened an account for yourself, you need to login and click on New or New Email, Compose or Compose Mail. The choice would depend on the service you use.
2. Type in the cell phone number of your friend or family, using the format that the cell phone carrier of the recipient is using. If you do not know how to do this, go online and look for resources where you can look at the examples for every major cell phone company.
3. Type in the email address in the designate area and then type in the text message you want them to read.
4. If you are sending a picture, image, video or sound, click on the “Attach” option. This would allow whatever file you want to send to the recipient to be opened either on their email or on their mobile phones.
5. Before sending, proofread your message.
This MMS is free, which is the main reason why many people are now using the phone via Internet service. This service has taken communication to a new level and has also brought down the costs related to it dramatically. This service is the result of recent developments in technology.
