Mode of Education Practiced in Schools in India

Primary schools in India are the first place where the kids enter to prepare their future. After a brief period of studying in kindergarten schools or at home, the kids are admitted in these schools. The foundations for their future are well laid here. Although we can easily find numerous such schools in the cities and towns, the condition in the villages is a grim picture. In the remote villages the number of such schools is too low. Thus the ratio of teacher to student in those places is uncannily absurd. Also, the teachers joining those schools are not well qualified. Thus the education system in the primary schools in India in villages is on a wane. Although the Government is trying hard to improve the condition, it will take years to reach a commendable position.
Secondary education consists of two years in the secondary schools in India and thereafter you need to attend the colleges. The secondary education is mainly aimed at preparing the individuals for a certain types of professions. The state of secondary education may have been akin with the primary education status. But the regular arrival of qualified teachers to teach in these schools and colleges has somehow saved their condition. But here, there is another problem to deal with. The number of students attending the secondary educational institutions is significantly less than the number attending the primary schools in India.
The criteria needed to fulfill to get admission in schools in India are quite difficult. There are four different boards and most of the schools fall under any one of them. They are the state government’s secondary education examination board (SSLC) which standardizes the rules and regulations in preponderance of schools in India, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISCE) and The National Open School Board. Moreover, each school comes up with their own admission pre-requisites.
