The next time you find yourself measuring your success by adding a dollar sign in front, consider the following statement, “your self-worth is more important than your net worth”. Stay self-motivated by knowing your self-worth. Follow the 7 Realistic Ways to Stay Self-Motivated , and achieve a more thorough sense of your true successes in life.

1. Practice conditioning your mind with positive thoughts. Become aware of your negative thoughts as they happen, and replace them with a more positive spin.

2. Exercise to stay energized. Your physical, mental, and emotional health are dependent upon one another. If you want to stay content and motivated, exercise is a vital step along the way.

3. Avoid negative people. True, no matter what we do, there will be negative people who enter our lives every now and then. But that doesn’t mean we need to surround ourselves with them. Minimize your time with them, and remind yourself that their attitudes don’t necessarily have to be yours.

4. Surround yourself with motivated, goal-oriented people. Make sure your team is a positive one, and focus your time with people who bring a motivated ,animated influence to your environment.

5. Be flexible. By opening your mind to alte
ative thoughts, perspectives, and ideas, you’ll reduce your own stress, and expose yourself to a great number of opportunities you may never have considered.

6. Stretch yourself past your limits. This doesn’t mean that you should overexert yourself. What it does mean is that you should try as hard as you can, and then give a little bit more. This way, you won’t ever hold yourself back, and you’ll know that you can be very proud of every accomplishment because you gave your all.

7. Stop trying to be perfect. Nobody is perfect , so don’t try to achieve it. Instead, try to achieve your own very best, and be happy when you do. Perfection is the worst enemy of success. Consider completion to be your goal- not perfection.

As you can see achieving success is actually just a matter of how you look at your life and deal with your situation. By taking the right approach to staying self-motivated, you can by certain to be successful no matter what you do.
