A very smart and successful man shared a story with me the other day: "I had a mentor once telling me about his latest business venture and how it was working. In the midst of our conversation, I asked him "Why don't you ever talk about money? Why is it always about what you are doing but not what you are making." I was curious because it seemed to me like it would be a simple conversation piece if I had as much money as he did."

He went on. "My mentor turned, looked at me and said "Well, it's probably because there is an abundance of it in my world." I sat stunned for a second. Upon seeing the look on my face, he further explained, "After all, I don't ever heard you talk about air.""

Interesting, isn't it? It makes sense. After all, I know that *I* haven't had any conversations, today or this week or probably even this whole month, about the abundance of air I enjoy breathing. We just don't think about it. If we found ourselves in a situation where there was no air, or limited air, the answer would be far different.

This was a very enlightening story for me. It made me realize a couple of things: First, my friend was right. Anything we have in abundance we generally don't bring it up in conversation.
Secondly, I REALLY wanted that to be my case when it came to the topic of money!

We all have those things we determine will take place when we have "made it": Travelling all over the world, only working when we want to. Wednesday afte
oon, and we want to go wine tasting in Italy? Sure, no problem. We think that once money solves our needs, we will be stress free and happy all the time!

However, this line of thinking has fault. Having an abundance of money certainly would solve a lot of my problems! But not all of them. If there were the case, there would be several doctors I know that would also be the happiest people I know. And that isn't true!
Most of us want and dream about our desired lifestyle. Whatever that may be. Let's break that up into simpler terms. Lifestyle really equals time and money. Life(Time) / Style ($).

What if you had all the life (time) you needed but very little style (money)? Would you be happy? Considering you are reading this, I'm guessing the answer to be no! How about very little life (time) but all the style (money) you needed? No again. You need to have both. WE need both. We want both the ability to take the kids to Disneyland, and the time to be there with them, as well.

The only way to finding out how to have both the life AND style you want is to figure out what you are passionate about. What your purpose is! Whatever it is that drives you forward will be the very thing that will get you the life/style you want!

The Quiet Surplus in the Medical Cabinet In many households across the country, a quiet accumulation happens behind the closed doors of bathroom cabinets and bedside drawers. For those living with diabetes, managing the condition is a logistical feat that involves a constant influx of sensors, test strips, lancets, and infusion sets. Because health insurance often ships these supplies in bulk, or prescriptions change unexpectedly, it is remarkably common to find oneself with
