Wake up girlfriend, it ain’t gonna happen! Maybe he wants you to stop what you are doing and help him to build his business. You must realize, if and when he decides to leave you, and he probably will – you will not have and/or own anything that is in his name. Be careful signing leases for space that you cannot afford. Stop purchasing cars for your friend and making monthly payments on things you cannot afford.

Here is the good news. It is not too late, you can start saving a little each day until you get your own start-up capital. If you save a little each day and find ways to cut corners – you can make it. To do this, you need to lose the attitude, “I must have it now.” Most people who have large successful businesses started small and they allowed it to grow. It is suggested that you try a bake sale, silent auction, and other ways to raise funds. It may not happen for you overnight, but if you don’t give up and continue to work, it will happen.

You might be waiting for the investors to help you, and they might be waiting for you to do something before they decide to invest in you. As an example, if you have money problems, you may want to take advantage of the financial seminars offered at your local community college. You will need to invest money when starting a small business. There are many ways to get start-up capital for your business. If you cannot save money on your own, you may want to review the list of angel investors in the venture capital directory.
