Liposuction has been an incredibly popular method for a large number of women to finally eradicate those last bits of body fat in some problem areas. However, in the past years more and more men are getting liposuction to get rid of their problem areas as well! In a day and age where men get manicures, pedicures and spend some afternoons at luxurious day-spas, it's no wonder that liposuction would be a method of cosmetics not just limited to the female gender. It's certainly not a surgery limited to either gender!
Plenty of celebrities, actors, big-name tycoons, reality television stars, etc. have gotten liposuction to keep their figures in tip-top shape. Of course, surgery is not a method to get rid of fat on the fly. Exercise and healthy diet habits is much better, healthier and effective than a type of cosmetic surgery. This is probably a reason why men do not undergo this drastic method of fat removal as often as women do as it is the male stereotype that is associated with various sports, gyms and protein shakes.
Of course, another part of the male stereotype is to eat lots of unhealthy food such as hamburgers, hot dogs, anything grilled, and plenty of red meat. Salads are a female stereotype. Then again, so is ice cream. Obviously, both the female and male stereotypes include healthy and non-healthy habits. Men are thought to exercise more but women are more likely to order something healthy at a restaurant as many men consider salads "rabbit food". Eating a healthy diet includes not feeding – no pun intended – into any gender stereotypes. Ladies, stay away from the ice cream and chocolate as much as you can, moderation is the most important part of developing healthy eating habits. Gentlemen, as wonderful as burgers and steak can be at times, large amounts of red meat are not heart healthy and fried foods have very large amounts of saturated fat content which certainly does not help in trying to keep trim and fit.
The important facet of stereotypes is that not everyone will be playing into them. Individuals have different and varied tastes. Keeping healthy habits are universal and taking care of your stubborn fat deposits starts with a healthy diet! Eating healthy doesn't necessarily mean eliminating fattening foods completely. Moderation is a key to developing healthy habits. Eating healthy is an important way to keep from referring to drastic methods like liposuction until stubborn fat deposits prove too much to handle with simple diet and exercise.
