Motivation – Begin Building a Dream and Celebrate Your Successes

Motivation is intriguing. At times, you need huge motivators – life changing events that turn your life around – and sometimes, you need only a nudge - those little pushes – a sweet quote on a card – to empower you to map out your success strategy. Here are few suggestions to help you keep the momentum in building your dreams and celebrating your successes!

Build your dream and feed itr
Whether you dream is big or small, it doesn’t really matter. As long as you covet a dream, a goal or an objective; the thing you hold on to, something to strive for…that's enough to get you started. Once you have identified that dream you see yourself achieving, feel it, taste it and BE it. Believe in your dream. Feed it and fuel the fire inside you to accomplish it. Put forth all you can for achieving that dream. Don’t be a victim of the “bright shiny object” syndrome, which promises that “this will make your dreams come true!” Trust yourself and take the steps necessary to achieve your goals.

One foot in front of the otherr
Our thoughts can trick us into thinking we need to be doing something other than creating our reality. If you don’t feel like getting out of bed, or feel that your talents are wasted in your current job, just put one foot in front of the other, knowing that each step will lead to your success. Motivation is all about taking baby steps to achieve gigantic goals.
A critical step in the creative process is the minutes before moving ahead. We have this hesitation that pulls us back. These moments call to mind self worth, self motivation, self aggrandizement, and a host of other things that prevent us from moving forward. Know that moving forward is your next step to take.

Believe in yourself
If you don’t believe in yourself, who will? There are always trials and tribulations in the “self worth” department for anyone who is moving forward on their dreams. It is as if you’ve now decided to “bring it on” and sure enough the universe provides many obstacles to “test” you in your purpose. But knowing that you are a perfect part of the universe that is willing and able to offer the gifts you have to give, will ultimately lead to the evolution of the universe, with your particular gifts included.

Compensate yourselfr
When one is in the flow, and contributing to the world with the unique gifts one has to offer, then all is right with the world. You are in the flow. You need to acknowledge that you are doing the best job and offering the best gifts you can give to the world. And you need to honor those gifts with compensation. Give yourself the gift of nature, of family, of friends or of frivolity. You are successful in life. Celebrate that success with gratitude and thanksgiving.
