Mount Everest Base Camp Trek from Kathmandu

After visiting the base camp, you hike up to Kalapatthar in the morning, then trek back to Pheriche, Namche, and Lukla before taking a flight back to Kathmandu. You follow the same itinerary of the 12-day one until the base camp and Kalapatthar and then fly out to Kathmandu direct on a helicopter on the 9th day. If you do not have enough time to complete the whole regular itinerary or do not use the same way to Lukla following the same itinerary, that you already have visited on the way up, this short mount Everest base camp trek can be the best option for you. You can also travel to mount Everest base camp directly from Kathmandu within an hour if you do a helicopter tour of the base camp. This 4 hrs helicopter ride offers beautiful views of the Everest Himalayas, attractive landscapes, religious monuments, valleys, and more with landing on several vantage viewpoints such as the hotel Everest view and Kalapatthar.
