Muro is a medicine used to draw extra water out of swollen cornea to sharpen the vision as extra water in cornea can cause poor vision. The rings are seen around the point light sources if there is extra water present in cornea. Cornea is a transparent layer present above the pupil (coloured part of eye).Moro is also known as Sodium chloride. Do not take the medicine without the doctor’s prescription. How to use Muro?
Wash your hands before using the medicine. Fill the dropper with the medicine. Tilt your head backwards and drop the medicine in your eyes and keep them close for another 1 to 2 minutes. Wash your hands again so that no medicine is left on the hands. Keeps the dropper germfree as contaminated applicator can cause serious damage to eyes including loss of vision. Contact your doctor to know how to safely dispose off the left out medicine.
What are the side effects of Muro?
Muro can cause some temporary side effects like eye irritation, burning sensation in eye however it will wither away within a week as body may take some time to adjust with the medicine. If you experience pain in eyes, change in vision or irritation and it continues for more than 3 days or become worse, please consult your doctor. Some other serious side effects are rashes, difficulty in breathing, swollen face, eyes, tongue.
What are the safety measures?
Muro may cause irritation in eye or blurry vision, so in that case stop performing a task that needs clear and sharp vision (like operating machinery) till the vision is clear, as it can be dangerous and life threatening. Consult your doctor to know the risks of using the medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become or are a nursing mother and will be bread feeding the child. Do not share the medicine with others. Only use the medicine if it is recommended to you by a doctor or a health care professional. If you have taken the over dose of the medicine, immediately contact local poison control centre or emergency room. Do not take any other medicine with Muro without letting your doctor know about it as Muro can react with any other medicine to cause harmful effects.
What if the Dose is missed?
If the dose is missed, use it as soon as u remember it however if it is a time to take the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue normally with the schedule. Do not take extra dose to make up the missed dose.
