Spirituality reveals that life is bigger than our bodies and what our minds think. It is a reminder that we are never alone, and that we are all connected.
I experience spirituality as the invisible connection between you and I. It is the non-physical internal world revealing something more than the sum total of us. Our body defines our physical I, our mind defines our non-physical I, and our spirit transcends the boundaries of our mind and body. It is the essence of our life—the majesty within and beyond us. Spirituality embraces both reflection and action. It is moving beyond I to care for the other. Spirituality is not about containing or controlling, but about meeting our soul and responsibly sharing it with another soul. It requires self-awareness of our spirituality to avoid the dynamics of controlling or being controlled. n
I Have Learned n... that spirituality is a sacred connection to something bigger than myself. I experience it in many areas. For me, spirituality means living with the realization that every day is a new day and a fresh start. It also is expressed in my close relationships. I have an innate need to connect to others in ways that are life affirming. These connections reveal to me that the world is about more than me and my relationships—its entirety is beyond my comprehension. In addition, I see spirituality as being curious about myself, what matters to me, and where to direct my heart and mind.

Be aware of the greatness of your existence, and the existence around you. Through focused awareness, you can boundlessly experience all of it in the moment as you settle into yourself. Sensing that the world is bigger than you is to comprehend that you are connecting with spirituality.
