My Cheerful Sojourn to Bangkok; I simply wish to Revisit

It was my maiden International getaway and my first trip to Bangkok indeed. People always talk about this wonderful city, and that’s why I was keen to know what exactly Bangkok stands for and what the true essence of this Thai capital is. So I, along with three of my friends, decided to put a Bangkok tour. We booked a package deal and flied from Delhi to Bangkok on the pre-fixed date. We got our rental car, as per our Thailand package deal, just outside the airport, and left for the hotel. As it’s known for, we found Bangkok’s traffic quite notorious. Actually, one can easily get caught up in snarl-up traffic on Bangkok’s roads. However, the city has shown tremendous improvement with excellent and modern transport arrangements in place. rnNext morning, we decided to visit the Grand Palace, as per our tour itinerary. It’s dazzling, spectacular and undoubtedly the most captivating thing to see in Bangkok. I was speechless for a little span of time. Then, I stood in front that non-to-second grand building, and said out loud, ‘’No wonder everyone wish to visit Bangkok, it’s simply fantastic.” The architectural beauty, spiritual significance and gleaming trance of this more than two centuries old palace is truly matchless. After that, we headed to the Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), Wat Mahathat, and Wat Traimit to discover the historical and cultural essence of Bangkok, and it was mind-blowing to all of us. rnWe have heard a lot about vibrant nightlife of Bangkok, so it was also the part of plan to get into Bangkok’s renowned bars and clubs. Loud music, a large selection of drinks and foods, and of course, beautiful Thai girls, Bangkok turns colorful after the day becomes dark. The scene is really an eye-opener for first timers. Visit to the Soi Cowboy night market for me was an experience like never-before. Limitless fun and joy run throughout the night. The beautiful girls sit next to the visitor and ask for drink as well as company. One more thing I would like to add is that Soi Cowboy is free from scams or frauds which people usually fear about. When you’re in Bangkok, it’s hard to avoid the magic of its museums and amusement parks. We too were not any exception. We took tour to Butterfly Garden, Dusit Zoo and Chockchai Farm to explore wonderful wildlife of Thailand and numerous enchanting animal shows. Museums like Bangkok National Museum, Bank of Thailand Museum etc. are also worth visiting. If you love shopping or food, Bangkok is really meant to you. Excellent shopping arcades are lined up in the city, catering every need of shoppers, tourists and the locals alike. Quality of food and selection of dining avenues is also detectable. It was really a great holiday to all of us sweet memories of that leave us smiling even today. And big thumbs up to our tour operator who made it possible for us to have such a wonderful holiday to Bangkok. The services provided were superb – from accommodation to transportation, everything was fabulous.
