Mysterious, Magical, Historical and Natural of Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal then your guide probably told you that it was designed by Ustad Isa of Iran, and built by the Moghul Emperor, Shah Jahan, in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Indian children are taught that it was built in 22 years (1631 to 1653) by 20,000 artisans brought to India from all over the world. This story has been challenged by Professor P.N. Oak, author of Taj Mahal: The True Story, who believes that the whole world has been duped. He claims that the Taj Mahal is not Queen Mumtaz Mahal's tomb, but an ancient Hindu temple palace of Lord Shiva (then known as Tejo Mahalaya), worshipped by the Rajputs of Agra city. The Taj Mahal was built on a parcel of land to the south of the walled city of Agra. Shah Jahan presented Maharajah Jai Singh with a large palace in the center of Agra in exchange for the land. An area of roughly three acres was excavated, filled with dirt to reduce seepage and leveled at 50 meters above riverbank. The term Tajmahal itself never occurs in any mogul court paper or chronicle even in Aurangzeb's time. The attempt to explain it away as Taj-i-mahal is therefore, ridiculous.
The ending "Mahal" is never muslim because in none of the muslim countries around the world from Afghanistan to Algeria is there a building known as "Mahal".
This wonder in white marble was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his wife Mumtaz in the year 1631. It took 22 years and 20,000 craftsmen and laborers to complete the construction of this historic tomb of Mumtaz Mahal, the chosen one of Emperor Shah Jehan. There is more to this country tha

al love, lasting grief, is now a sad exemplification of wrath of climatic condition, cruel nature, and human errors. The reasons for the loss of Taj’s hypnotic beauty could be well blame to the above instances and it seems like a strategic conspiracy of humans and nature against the innocence of Taj Mahal. The color of the Taj changes with every change that takes place in the sky. The golden pink Taj at dawn turns into dazzling white at noon. Giving way to the sultry orange at sunset is the milky blue at night. Viewing the Taj on Full moon nights is a blissful experience. No wonder then, the Taj Mahal is the most sought after destination by a foreign traveler. The reflections of the Taj in the water pond in front of it or in the Yamuna waters in the back are some of the breath taking views.
This supreme temple of love, standing gracefully by the sacred Yumana at Agra, has become the monument of a man's love for a woman. The Taj Mahal tour of Agra is thus truly enthralling and visitors are charmed by the beauty and glory of such a great work of art. Tourists in large numbers flock at the venue of the monument.
