Many children suffer from allergies while playing at school or in the yard with other children. Children are prone to such allergies because they don’t understand the risk of not washing hands. Sometimes they wipe their nose or play in the dirt and then eat with their hands without washing them. This is the reason of infections and allergies. Children can’t take care of their own selves. It is the duty of parents to take care of them. Most of the allergy in children is nasal allergy. Nasal allergy is more contagious than other allergy. Symptoms of nasal allergies Itchiness in round the nasal area, Chest congestion, coughing and breathing, frequent sneezing etc. if these symptoms persist for some weeks then may be children is suffering from nasal allergies. Such allergies can, if left unaddressed, lead to further complications like an affected sinus and ear infections. Diagnosis The best way to diagnose allergens is to carry out blood tests but such tests have proven effective only from the age of 3 or above. In infants under 3 the only way to determine the allergens is to study the causes, duration, frequency and whether they are seasonal or due to weather. Only then one should take an informed decision.
