"You can do nothing that I can't do. I can do things that you can't do. Together we can do great things."
Mother Teresa

Horses have always been my favourite animals. As a little girl I dreamt at night about horses. There were always three of them together - a jet black one, a snowy white one and a golden one. The golden one was the most beautiful, the fastest and much better than the others. He carried me in my dreams with the wind over the hills into freedom.

It was many, many years later that I actually met this horse, the horse of my dreams. It happened at a stable directly opposite where I lived in a village. At first sight I knew it was him. It all came back to me. I was allowed to ride him without knowing that he was for sale. During this special time together a long-time friendship began, a time which would not only be full of good moments, but also filled with show-downs and frustrating fights between us. There were good days, as there were bad days in our relationship - two very different beings and nevertheless a shared destiny.

I was lucky enough to become the owner of this beautiful creature! This horse reflects me and how I feel each and every day. He was and still is able to recognise how my mood is. With his exquisite sensitivity he knows whether I'm feeling happy or sad, weak or strong, if I am angry, in stress, or worried about something.

After many years of this horse-human relationship, I wanted to do something nice for myself one day, as I wasn't feeling the best. I was stuck in the middle of a personal crisis and thought it would be a great idea to saddle up and go out for a lovely ride in the beautiful countryside to take my worries away and uplift myself. The fields had just been harvested, the sun shone. It was a lovely summer day in August. My horse, all the same, wasn't very happy about my nervousness and stress. He notices everything and obviously reacts on it! And an accident happened. The results of it were a broken spine and a very slow recovery. A breach of trust had taken place between me and my horse and a trauma, which affected us both and left me feeling very sad.

After a few months, when I got back on my feet again and was well under recovery, I was willing to work on this problem. I had a heartfelt longing for our beautiful relationship, and I wanted to build up mutual respect and trust again. This is how I came to Natural Horsemanship.

This method of training is about the study of the relationship between the human and the horse. It's based on natural communication, understanding and psychology, instead of the creation of angst, intimidation and mechanical aids. Existing limitations and old concepts just fall away on their own.

I started to understand the language of horses, to listen and to transform the knowledge. This language is down-to-earth, consequential, with no filter and it is a personal gain for everyone in their relationship with horses. It brought me back into balance, cleansed my senses and healed the relationship between me and my horse-friend. I discovered the fascinating world of horses, and it was fun, understandable and knowledgable all at the same time. We played natural games of dominance as a foundation for our communication. Finally after a lot of work, I became accepted as the natural leader in our relationship. I would say that we are now more of a team, in peace, freedom and love, which is a wonderful feeling. My horse has more than ever become my partner and my friend. We grow and evolve together and I have developed a wonderful natural attitude to myself, just as I have to him. That's very precious.

I would love for you to enrich your life and the life of your horse - it's worth it to let go of traditional concepts and to try out new natural ways!

I would like to offer everyone the possibility to make the same experience as I did with these wonderful animals, the horses. So I'm giving you the opportunity with World-Wise Connections to work with the best trainers for Natural Horsemanship. Visit my website: http://www.world-wise-connections.de/NaturalHorsemanship.html
