Acne can be a particularly damaging problem for many people, particularly those experiencing some hormonal changes. There are many different types of natural extracts which can be used to effectively treat the skin, even when the acne is in a period of remission. These products can be used as a general treatment agent which can also provide antiseptic, bactericide and fungicide properties as well as being a natural anaesthetic and solvent. Skin care products like this can be a real alternative because they often contain none of the chemicals that typical drugs use. Tea Tree Oil is a great example of a wholly natural product that can very effectively treat the abrasions caused by acne without any of the side-effects of other products. This particular product can also be applied to other maladies.
