Not only are home cures for yeast infection known to be very effective, they also reduce the risk of side effects, which can result from medication. Some famous natural cures for yeast infection exist, which you may already have heard about and other home treatments are less famously know. Homeopathic remedies also exist, which are normally very safe.

When one is infected with a yeast infection, certian habits need to be avoided Changing your daily diet is one of the most effective ways of fighting yeast infection at home. It is best to cut out beer and other fermented drinks and reduce alcohol consumption overall. Drinking coffee should also be reduced or cut out. Try to eat more natural foods and stay away from processed foods and refined sugar (sugar will feed the yeast). Loose fitting clothes are best when a yeast infection is present, so as to avoid creating the favourable conditions for Candida organisms (warm and moist).

These changes in lifestyle will be a great help, however, usualy more needs to be done to fight off the yeast infection. Do not panic, there are many useful approaches to curing yeast infection naturally. One of the favourite natural cures is apple cider vinegar. You can run a bath with warm water then add one cup of apple cider vinegar, this will give great relief. Also, you may consume it as part of the ingredients in food like salad.

Another commonly used cure is tea tree oil. A tampon can be used to apply it, adding some drops to it then inserting. Leave it in for twenty minutes or so and repeat two times per day. For extra relief while sleeping, leave it in ove
ight.

Perhaps the most famous yeast infection cure is yogurt. Look for a type with active cultures and no added sugar. You are sure to notice a lot of relief if you apply this to the vagina a few times every day. You may hear that honey can also be applied to cure yeast infection. This is not particularly reliable. If you try it, use a purely natural variety with no added sucrose.

Changes in lifestyle can give great benefits. You might consider yoga as a means to become more healthy and even as part of a yeast infection cure. It's practices increase overal health through lowering stress and eliminating toxins. The improvements in physical and mental health from the practive of yoga can actually go a long way to fight yeast infection.

Lastly, think about any particular conditions of your health. You might consider stopping or changing the type of birth control you use and see how that effects your health. Yeast infection can also be affected if you are diabetic. Monitor blood sugar levels closely.
