Who are you accountable to in your network marketing business. Do you have a mentor? One of the hardest things about working a home business is finding the motivation to do it.nnSounds strange doesn't it. If your home business is your primary source of income then why wouldn't you be motivated to do it? This is where a network marketing mentor comes in handy. I'm not necessarily talking about someone already involved in MLM but someone you fear and respect.nnNetwork Marketing MentornnLet's face it, we have all been accountable to someone in our lives. Just think about when you go to a job. You are accountable to your boss. Most people fear their bosses but few respect them. Most bosses don't have the ability to motivate their people the right way to produce optimum levels of productivity.nnIn your MLM business, how many times have you put off making a phone call, put off delivering flyers and decided at the last moment to miss a meeting because a favorite TV show was on that night. Well, that's all about to change if you apply this one principle I'm going to tell you about now... appoint yourself a mentor.nnFind An MLM MentornnThink of someone in your life currently you hate to let down. It could be your father, a friend or even a work mate. Even better, think of someone you'd hate letting down because you have a fear of being seen in a bad light by them.nnYou know the type of person I'm talking about. Someone who has the ability to make people stop and listen and who has the ear of many. Someone you think is so important that you'd do anything to gain their respect.nnGet on their bad side and suddenly you are in their firing line and the worst part about this is that the rest of the world will hear about it. Now why don't you approach them with an offer of becoming your shadow.nnDo It Today!nnThis is pretty simple. You want a network marketing mentor. Here are some things you can ask your prospective shadow:nn"I am finding it difficult to get focussed on my home business. I'm looking for a person I can be accountable to once or twice a day. All I need is to present them with a list of to do's each day and then report back to them with my completed tasks. I need someone I respect as a person and you were the first person I thought of. It won't take up much of your time but I would need you to commit to me for at least a month."nnThat's it. Simple. You can either make a phone call or send them an email. You could even offer to pay them but more importantly, they need to commit to you. This is a powerful way to get yourself motivated. Done properly, it can work wonders on your MLM business.
