Is this your first year in network marketing? Suggest you look up at the meaning of network marketing first. The simplest definition of Network Marketing, in my words would be “Marketing of goods and services through prospecting, developing relationship with the prospect and introducing the product as a solution he is looking for, by you and your recruits, who also repeat the same process”. Your network marketing strategy should not stop here. Your recruits will also have their recruits, repeating the same process.

A well crafted network marketing strategy could be a money churning concept for those who embrace it, understand it, and practice it. A business model which requires as little as a few hundred Dollars as the initial capital. That’s why network marketing is the best business model to start your own home based business. Provided you follow your defined network marketing strategy.

If Network Marketing was so simple, why large business houses don’t follow this model? Well they do. Look at the franchise business. What do you think? Do Starwood, Carlson or Lemon Tree; own all hotels that carry their name? No, maybe a handful? Rest all are franchised where the chains get a percentage of their income as a fee. So what does their network marketing strategy entail? Just three steps, first you network with people, second you present your proposal or opportunity and third you follow up with them to extract a decision. All this does sound very simple.

Yet people fail. Internet Network Marketing is not all that simple like saying get, set and go. It needs intricate planning and execution of your network marketing strategy. Careful evaluation. Applying course corrections all the time to avoid or bypass rough weather, road blocks or air pockets.

“Multi Leveled” or multi functional approach has the opportunity for multiple revenue streams. It involves networking with people for financial gains. To put it simply, Network Marketing Strategy entails not only networking or connecting with people but developing a relationship. You develop trust by displaying a value gain for your prospects and presenting your opportunity in a carefully maneuvered manner, as the most appropriate solution to their problems. The opportunity should only be presented once they seek your advice. They will seek you advice as they trust you and like you.
In this process the relationship results into a “buy” for the person or transaction for you as a win-win situationrn.
Remember the entire basis of your network marketing strategy is to lead your prospect with a value proposition. One could very well argue why waste your time and effort in a lengthy process, when one could display the product in a window and sell. The difference is that in direct sale you are strictly creating a business acquaintance and not a relationship which lasts for a few minutes during the process. In online MLM, on the other hand you have developed a relationship of trust, liking and most probably of dependence.

What you did and what you are likely to gain against the direct sale approach? You have not just earned a customer, but also a spokes person, a recruit or an addition to your down line. You can now see him buy other products from you. Not only this, he is going to promote you and your products to his contacts, creating your second down line and his first, enlarging your social network market. Do you now see how a well defined network marketing strategy works; you see the benefits of multi level marketing or MLM and online Network marketing. Give it six months to a year and you won’t be able to count the tiers in your down line. Now here is a rider, “provided you do it right”. For the beginners or for those in their first year in network marketing, this is very important. Put the right network marketing strategy into action from the start.

The big question is how you find people or TRAFFIC. If there is no traffic, there are no leads development, no prospects, and no opportunity to present your proposal, no buyer and no down line. End of the road.

We have so far discussed about the basics of Internet Network marketing. That’s not enough. It only told us about the “A” to “Z” alphabets. But we want to write words so that we could write sentences and eventually internet marketing articles or contents like this. I remember how I did that and I am sure that you also did the same, went to school and learnt. Well here also the process is the same - Just learn the art of crafting a solid network marketing strategy. In my first year in network marketing, I did the same, as there is no substitute for learning. Net work – enlarge your social network market!
