When we go through the days in our lives we quickly learn things are never the same. We have changes in our jobs, our home life and our other regular routines. We may get up one morning expecting to do certain things but that doesn’t happen. We need to understand and be flexible in our daily routines to know there will be bumps along the way. We need to be able to handle the changes and recognize things may never be the same.

Things are never the same for a reason. We can’t always expect to wake up and have the same wonderful day we had the day before. God doesn’t want us to live our lives daily without some type of change or challenge. If we did, we could become bored with our routine and get side tracked. We could stop depending on God because we believe we can handle things. We could never grow because we would always know things would not change and there would be no challenges in life.

Hebrews 4:16 “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”

The important thing to remember is to keep God first in our lives daily. We need to remember to trust Him to help us handle the things that never stay the same. We shouldn’t get upset about things changing day to day. We shouldn’t overreact when things don’t go the way they went yesterday. We must go to God every day and be sure He is the anchor in our day. Our God will never change.

Hebrews 6:19 “This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.”

We may have problems with our finances where an unexpected bill needs to be paid. We may have a situation at home where a family member has done something to hurt us. We may have an issue at work where we feel our job is threatened due to a lie or misunderstanding. We may have a sudden serious health issue that changes our routines and makes us lose focus on other things.

These things can come up quickly or slowly so we have to be prepared ahead of time for them. We need to read God’s word daily and go to Him in pray to help us be ready for the things in life that are never the same. We need to trust Him ahead of time to help us for the future as well as the present. We can’t spend our time worrying about how to handle things or just doing nothing in fear of making a mistake. We need to go to God so we do what He wants us to do.

We should go to God to help us handle the changes and the challenges in life. We need to know He will help give us peace, give us wisdom and give us understanding in times of trouble. We should understand God will be able to handle anything that comes up in life, good or bad. When we go to God when things just aren’t the same, He will give us a new direction. He will give us what we need to make a difference.
