With the spread of technology, words like ‘efficiency’ and ‘convenience’ got new meanings. Similarly, with online networking sites, you made new friends instantly; with direct marketing sites you could sell instantly and could get auto ship options, thereby eliminating the need to buy from an offline store with the money in your hand. If you’re a tattoo freak, you could have yourself tattooed just about anywhere. You could use the Italian word pronto for immediately if you want a cup of coffee or food or an irritating insect repelling company whose pop-up is not in sync with your computer’s security settings, but not for a tattoo. Where to look If you want a tattoo designer to breathe life into your custom tattoo designs, look online, or ask a friend for help. If this is easy to do, there’s also a high degree of risk involved in doing this. Looking online for a good tattoo designer using search engines may not be risky, but when you begin negotiating with designers, it can be. This is when the wise advice, “Never talk to strangers”, seems to exit your vocabulary. When you’re online, you could meet fake tattoo designers who trick you into believing that they are experienced tattoo artists. They make false claims and brag about their achievements and use fake customer names. If you are gullible enough to believe people who speak boastfully or make tall claims, it’s best that you don’t take the online path to look for a suitable tattoo artist. Refer a friend To be considered a serious tattoo fan, you need to belong to a particular tattoo club since members of such clubs are infamous for making tattoo referrals. Though there’s no better form of advertising than word of mouth advertising or referrals, they could become huge risks for you. Each tattoo artist has his or her own opinion on a particular custom tattoo design. Perhaps you like a particular artist’s creation on the body of a friend, but that doesn’t immediately imply that the effect of his work would be the same, if done on you. Neither does it mean that because he shares a good work rapport with your friend, you too could enjoy such a good rapport with the same person. Each person is different from anyone else—so never take on an artist just because someone vouches for him. You may be impulsive by nature, as most of us are, particularly when we visit the mall and have a little extra cash in hand. However, don’t be impulsive when looking for a good tattoo artist. After all, you don’t want the first tattooist you meet to ink his creation on you. This degree of impulsiveness could make you regret your decision afterwards. So, the best way to look for a good tattoo artist is to go online and host a tattoo design contest. The Net is full of fantastic sites which can put you in touch with an infinite number of tattoo artists who are willing and eager to interpret your tattoo idea.
