Facebook is poised to grow much larger in volume in the coming months. Social media app developers are more aware than ever of the dividends that come from developing for a social network platform with 600 million registered users worldwide. Facebook has been listening to concerns from the developer community. When it comes to the application submission approval process, Facebook is slow. Or at least it used to be. Now, thanks to some much needed tweaks to the app submission page, the process is more streamlined. Heres the reason why. Previously, developers were easily frustrated with the cumbersome app submission process. They had no idea how soon (or late) their app could appear on Facebook. The reason for this was the Facebook App Directory. Until and unless the app was listed in this directory, developers were left with no option but to wait after submitting their app. Facebook took care of this cumbersome headache by tweaking their app submission page. Now they offer developers an option to submit their app and show up on Facebook search index in a matter of hours. According to Facebook’s findings, a majority of its users were not discovering apps by accessing its app directory. Rather it was found that most users turned to Facebook’s search queries to find the apps they were looking for. As a result of a renewed focus on search, social app developers can also bake in SEO optimization into their apps. This aids in making their app more discoverable. Suppose you design a basketball game for Facebook. Chances are that anyone who searches for ‘sports’ as a search query can come across your basketball game more easily. Another measure that received a mixed response from developers was Facebook’s clampdown on spamming and fake apps. A few legitimate apps were also pulled from Facebook in the ban wave. However, this shortcoming was also rectified in due time. More importantly people are beginning to trust using new Facebook applications now. Facebook is home to many businesses that run on top of Facebook. This whole experience has made the social media giant to be mindful of downtime issues of its valued social app developers. Facebook has been listening to developer feedback and these all-encompassing changes have been welcomed for the most part by social app developers. The social media space is heating up. There never was a better time than the present to make your name in the social media arena.

Yet behind every call that connects and every message that reaches its destination, there is another system quietly working in the background. That system is the call center.
