New Year Resolutions for Graphic Designers!

We closed another year and the year 2012 has come, as we bid farewell to 2011, so this new year we all have new resolutions and new promises. However, in my own opinion, these resolutions and promises are the constructive element from the prospective of a logo designer. With hindsight at what you have achieved in the last year, so making new resolutions with New Year will help you in resolving mistakes which you have made in last year. Also, it will give you the chance to enhance your capabilities and to give you better opportunities to be a better graphic designer by accepting the deficiencies in you.
Here are some points for the most interesting and constructing resolutions, which every logo designer should make for this year.
1. Take Lesson From The Last Year 2011:
After every past year, many of the designers think that they will not repeat their mistakes which they committed in the past year, but now the year has passed and they need to take a lesson from the blunders and mistakes which they had done in their professional life so note down all of them. If you have a list of your blunders then you can work on them, and with little difficulty we can turn these flaws into our strengths.
2. Enhance Your Design Skills:
If you are a designer and want to survive successfully in this cutthroat market competition, then you have to be talented and creative. There are many designers who feel comfort in their limited area of work, for example, a graphic designer will not able to develop a code likewise a web developer would not create designs and blueprints for a website. But this is the year when you can expand your designing skills and enhance your creativity.

3. Contribute To The Design Community:
The truth is that the design community has awarded you loads to learn and determine. Maybe you will contribute something unique just for a change to the design community in this year. All in all, Corporate Social Responsibility and charity are not only just limited to international corporations but the community of logo designers can play a significant role by contributing catchy designs to the design community.
4. Work With Annoying Clients:
If you did not face any irritating client in the past year, then it is only because of the lack of patience in you to face bad clients. So this year, you have to work on your patients and tolerance. In fact, after facing such irritating clients you will realize that how much precious clients you let go waste when you refused working with them because of their irritating and annoying behavior.
5. Give A Raise To Yourself:
Once you overcome with your above listed deficiencies, you don’t forget to revise your designing rates. Because with the rates of last year which you were not raised due to inflationary pressure, so this year give a raise to your rates because you deserve it. But if you work for freelance then this year you must revise your rates and must save something for the rainy days as well.
So what are you resolutions for this year 2012? Because most of the designers used to go with the rush, they follow those trends and styles which are common in the design community, thus in this year stay ahead of time for a change in your life. Rather than following trends of others, in fact you should make your own trends for others to follow your rule.
